With a sense of expectation and a little apprehension, we are all ready to go!  Our neighbors, Ken and Pat, are going to pick us up around 3:15 to take us to the airport.  We have two bags for checking, two carry-on bags, a computer and a backpack.  That should hold us for 6 months.  The trip will be long, to Seattle tonight, then leaving at 7:15 tomorrow morning, to Kennedy, on to Zurich, arriving at 7:55 on 04/28.  After going through customs, we then will take trains to Schaffhausen, Ulm and finally Muenchen arriving at 3:28 in the afternoon.  Our landlady, Lorena, is going to pick us up at the train station and take us to the apartment and show us around.  Our next post will bring you up to date on how the plan was executed, and where and if changes were made.  Till then Auf Wiedersehen!
